I met Brooke and Matthew for the first time at their engagement session. Engagement sessions are such an awesome opportunity to get to know your photographer. It is a great ice breaker. We can joke and relax.. work on different poses and just have time to get to know each other! It makes wedding day a lot less stressful. No worrying about how you look in the photos because you have already had a session and you know how the poses look, which ones you love and we can duplicate poses you loved in your wedding dress and suit! Most of my wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session for this reason! We spend a couple hours together, with outfit and location changes. It’s so much fun!

Back to Brooke and Matthew… I was first contacted by Brooke’s sister Briana. She was helping her sister with the photographer search. I just happened to be at Disney World (one of my favorite places ever) when she called! Her love for her sister was the sweetest… it reminded me of Anna and Elsa… but also of my sweet girls Ruby and Lucy! I have a soft spot for sisters!!

I was so thrilled they picked me to be their wedding photographer!! They are getting married in Louisville, TN this November! I cannot wait for their big day!
