I love this family! Megan is a fellow photographer and dear friend! I photographed her son, Lach’s birth.. and first birthday.. and so many moments in between. I absolutely love seeing this little boy grow!

We are both so busy throughout the fall with weddings and family portraits, we end up throwing together a last minute photo swap session! Both of our families show up almost ready to go, rushing like most families are, getting last minute details all together. And we power through our difficult children (most photographers children are… they already know all our tricks.. haha.) Mostly with bribes of candy, ice cream, and toys…. Whatever it takes to get those sweet faces smiling! This reminds me I need to post a whole bloopers blog of my children!

I always let my clients know that I completely understand the struggles they’ve had to get there for their session. And many families feel like their children didn’t cooperate, or we didn’t get good photos of everyone. BUT we always do! We always have beautiful photos in the end that are priceless memories of your family. Heirlooms that will last life times.
