Maegan contacted me a few months back about photographing her destination wedding at The Venue in Chattanooga, TN! When she started telling me about her wedding plans I was SO EXCITED to hear they were having a Christmas themed wedding! I’ve had many weddings in December, but never an actual Christmasy Wedding! If you know me at all you know I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Like I am one of those people who could leave their tree up all year long! Okay not really.. but you get the picture. So I was stocked to be their photographer!

We also made plans for their engagement session to be in Chattanooga when they were in town working on details for their wedding. Fast forward to the day before their session and the weather looks pretty blah! It actually rained and stormed my whole drive to Chattanooga. We decided to have their session at the beautiful Rock City! It had plenty of covered options just in case the rain didn’t stop. We were shocked that as we arrived the rain completely stopped… and better yet Rock City was completely empty. Everyone had left during the rain.. we had the entire place to ourselves. It was amazing! Not to mention we had the MOST gorgeous skies ever! It was absolute perfection!

I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in December!
