Can I just say how much I love the Dancing Bear Lodge and Wedding Venue?? When they contacted me about photographing this proposal I was literally jumping at the chance!! I LOVE proposals!! And Dancing Bear made it perfect!!

Tonia thought they were having a nice dinner at the Appalachian Bistro for her birthday. Jason and Tonia enjoyed their dinner inside then moved outside under the beautifully decorated Gazebo for dessert. I was hiding in the distance, she didn’t even know I was there until I went up to introduce my self… after the shock of the proposal had passed! When Jason pointed out the dessert menu you she see the shock and excitement all over her face! The staff at Dancing Bear had printed a custom menu for the proposal! At the bottom on the dessert menu said “Tonia will you marry me?’ She was so excited! Then afterwards when I went up to introduce myself and take some closeup photos of the couple, she was even more shocked that he had hired a professional photographer to take photos! I let them finish their dessert then we took a few more photos around the property. I went straight home and edited their images right away! Everyone deserves to share the news in photo form!! <3 <3 <3
